An independent organisation that promotes the employment of refugees and the integration of migrant workers in the UK. It is currently trying to make it easier for refugee teachers to work in schools and colleges in England and is working with other organisations in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Refugee Assessment and Guidance Unit (RAGU)
Supports refugees with high level education or professional qualifications into employment and education. This includes specialist training programmes, work placements and guidance.
Refugee Education and Training Advisory Service (RETAS)
RETAS is a division of Education Action International and works nationally, offering information, advice and guidance on education, training and employment for refugees.
Refugee New Arrivals Project
A project working in the Sheffield area to help refugees from professional backgrounds - including teachers - prepare for employment in their own field, in the UK. Activities include setting up volunteer work placements (in local schools, companies etc) and running support groups. Also provides information, advice and practical support to help asylum seekers and refugees access appropriate education, training and volunteering opportunities.
