Two new courses at the Migrants Resource Centre in London
The Migrants Resource Centre (MRC) runs courses for migrants, asylum seekers and refugees.
The Migrants Resource Centre runs a variety of courses throughout the year - the two course below may be of interest for people interested in teaching or learning about the UK more generally:
- Access to Britain Intensive Course
This course is for anyone interested in learning more about life in the UK, where you can find out more about British National Instituations, the political system, equality, employment and benefits, culture shock and British traditions and customs.
The course starts 01 March and runs every Monday 12-2pm and Wednesday 12:15 - 2:15pm for four weeks.
To take part, you should have intermediate English (Level E3 minimum)
- ESOL for Work
This course is for people whose English is Lower Intermediate level or higher, who are looking for a better job, and want to improve your office skills. It will cover office language, speaking to people, writing to people, office etiquette and making phone calls.
The course starts Monday 01 March every Monday and Wednesday for four weeks. The class runs from 3pm-5pm (there will be no classes 03 and 17 March)
