You will have an opportunity to find out about the ways of getting into teaching, discuss some of the barriers and how to tackle them, meet the Refugees into Teaching project team and other refugee teachers, and share your experiences during the presentations and workshops on the day. The workshops will help you to understand routes into teaching, how to improve your Initial Teacher Training application and will give you a chance to get your questions answered.
The day will start at 9.30 am promptly with registration at the Luton Town Hall and finish at 1.30 pm.
This event is for anyone with a refugee background. It doesn’t matter if you do not have any teaching experience, anyone with an interest in working in the education sector can join us for the day!
