The RiT website aims to provide information and guidance to refugees who wish to become qualified teachers or work in other support staff roles in English state primary or secondary schools.
The website also has information for organisations about how they can support refugee teachers to fulfil their employment and training goals.
ShareCyrille's story
Cyrille is from the Democratic Republic of Congo and took a one year “top up” degree in Pharmaceutical Science to enable him to apply for teacher training. He has now completed a two year PGCE course at Keele University, completing placements in schools.
